Mahakea 'Awa Resin

Mahakea is the middle ground in our resin line -- not as light as Nene, not as heavy as Isa. It is a full-spectrum 'awa (kava) extract, hand-selected and small-batch extracted from kava root grown on the Big Island, primarily around Mountain View and Volcano. Those two regions carry the Mahakea cultivar to a balanced, slightly heavier effect than our lighter strains -- good for settling the body without flattening the day.

We extract in one-gram syringes, full spectrum, meaning nothing is stripped out of the root beyond water and plant fiber. Every batch is hand-chosen by the person who grew it and the person who extracted it, which on an eight-SKU operation means the same two or three people every time, not a supply chain.

This is a small-batch product from a small farm. Availability follows the harvest, not a production schedule, so if Mahakea sells out between harvests, that is the tradeoff of single-farm sourcing instead of a blended, always-in-stock supply.
